You were 'a fine chap', as we would say, and so much more besides; full of good humour, common sense, and an infectious approach to life and other people. You will be much missed.

I am so sorry I didn't know you were unwell. I will never get so say how much I valued your friendship and support, tell you what a sterling bloke you were or give you a hug when you needed it the most.
But we did have some good times and I will look back fondly to the memories we made. Hopefully when we meet again, we can do Bat Out of Hell on karaoke 'cos we bottled it last time (or maybe I was too drunk... or were you too drunk - I can't remember!)
Your laughter, warmth and humour are already missed, and I can say it has been an absolute pleasure working with you and knowing you. Rest easy by friend, much love, Helena xx
